The store—as the name suggests—is focused on vintage and rare books, so they will, first of all, be willing to accept something rare. Also, they prefer to deal with smaller batches of books (5 or less) as a walk-in appointment.

2. Barnes & Noble Georgia Tech Bookstore

Barnes & Noble Georgia Tech Bookstore sells new and used textbooks, as well as general books and merchandise. They also buy back textbooks from students at the end of each semester and offer a rental program.

3. Half Price Books

Half Price Books has multiple two locations in the Atlanta area in Georgia: HPB Decatur and HPB East Cobb. According to what they say on their website, these stores buy books from the public.
Like the rest of the chain, Half Price Books accepts a wide range of books and generally offers cash.
You’ll come to their brick-and-mortar store and bring books in person. Before that, however, they suggest to “Be sure to call before heading to your local HPB during inclement weather to receive the latest information on openings and closings.” Also, make sure you bring your government-issued photo ID with you.

The shop mainly seeks academically related titles and recent bestsellers and rarely accepts mass-market paperbacks.
Eagle Eye is willing to pay from $1 to $5 for hardback non-fiction, from 50 cents to $3 for paperback non-fiction, and from 50 cents to $2 for fiction. The bookstore accepts clean copies with no signs of damage, no mildew, or any issues with pages or covers. Check whether your hardbacks have their original dust jacket.
The bookstore doesn’t accept “magazines, Reader’s Digest, encyclopedias, CDs, coloring books, series romance, or audiobooks.” Keep in mind that they may not accept your books if they already have too many copies, so it’s best to check with them beforehand.
