Some BookScouter users may have run into problems in the past few days trying to sell textbooks and used books online with us. Our website had a few issues that were locking people out or frustrating them so much they didn’t want to return.
The development team is happy to report that the most pesky bugs plaguing our website have been resolved. We’re working to restore things completely by fixing other glitches.
Our captcha feature is now working correctly. You’re not likely to receive a captcha request because we know that few of you are actually robots. We know how maddening it is to be asked, repeatedly, to prove you are human.
One of our book buyback vendors, Powell’s, has corrected troubles with its computer system and is once again listing prices for used books. Those of you trying to sell your used cookbooks and novels, please try again and see what Powell’s is paying.
