Para la 28ª edición del Novum Testamentum Graece, el texto fue revisado en profundidad. Por lo tanto, el aparato crítico se estructuró de forma más sencilla y también se recogen por primera vez las lecciones de los papiros 117-127. El Nuevo Testamento se basa en el texto científico actual reproducido en Nestlé-Aland. En esta edición, el texto de la Nova Vulgata está relacionado con un aparato crítico que presenta las lecturas divergentes de la Vulgata de Jerónimo, de la Sixto-Clementina y de otras ediciones de la Vulgata.</p>
