<p>Annual 2004 celebrates the relaunch of Los Angeles Forum's publication series after a five-year hiatus. After realizing the community had lost its main publication to discuss and critically debate the rapidly evolving issues facing contemporary architecture and urbanism, Annual was reinstated. In its return, Los Angeles once again connects to its rich history in critical thinking first established with the area academics and practicing professionals with all benefit from this periodical's rebirth.</p>
