Abweichend von traditionellen Interpretationsweisen analysiert die Autorin 20 Gedichte von Benn mit der von Lakoff und Johnson begründeten konzeptuellen Metapherntheorie. Das Resultat sind neue und überraschende Einsichten und die Autorin zeigt, dass Benns Größe und Tiefe bis jetzt noch nicht vollständig erkannt worden sind.</p>
