This volume contains monographs prepared at the eighty-first meeting of the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), which met in Rome, Italy, from 17 to 26 November 2015. The toxicological monographs in this volume summarize data on the veterinary drug residues that were evaluated toxicologically by the Committee: diflubenzuron, ivermectin, sisapronil and teflubenzuron. Annexed to the report is a summary of the Committee's recommendations on these and other drugs discussed at the eighty-first meeting, including acceptable daily intakes (ADIs), acute reference doses (ARfDs) and proposed maximum residue limits (MRLs). This volume and others in the WHO Food Additives Series contain information that is useful to those who produce and use food additives and veterinary drugs and those involved with controlling contaminants in food, government and food regulatory officers, industrial testing laboratories, toxicological laboratories and universities.

This volume contains toxicological monographs that were prepared by the 2005 Joint FAO/WHO Meeting on Pesticide Residues (JMPR), which met in Geneva from 20-29 September, 2005. The monographs in this volume summarize the safety data on 15 pesticides that could leave residues in food commodities. These pesticides are acephate, azocyclotin, benalaxyl, carbendazim, chlorpropham, clofentezine, cyhexatin, dimethanamid-P/racemic dimethenamid, ethoxyquin, fenhexamid, imazalil, indoxacarb, novaluron, propamocarb and sulfuryl fluoride. The data summarized in the toxicological monographs served as the basis for the acceptable daily intakes and acute reference doses that were established by the Meeting.

Available for the first time on CD-ROM, AGROVOC is the multilingual thesaurus for indexing and retrieving data in agricultural information systems, specifically the international cooperative systems AGRIS (International Information System for the Agricultural Sciences and Technology) and CARIS (Current Agricultural Research Information System), managed by FAO. Each language version of AGROVOC is presented as a single alphabetical list containing three categories of entries: descriptors, non-descriptors and multiword terms. Thus, the single list combines the descriptors and non-descriptors included in the thesaurus, together with their world blocks and the permuted index of all their components. This CD-ROM includes the latest print version (fourth edition). Présenté pour la première fois sur CD-ROM, AGROVOC est un thesaurus multilingue destiné, d'une part à l'indexation des données entrant dans les systèmes d'information agricole, en particulier les systèmes internationaux coopératifs AGRIS (Système international d'information sur les sciences et la technologie agricoles) et CARIS (Système d'information sur les recherches agronomiques en cours) gérés par la FAO et, d'autre part, à la recherche d'informations dans ces systèmes.
