Taking the view from her apartment window as her starting point, she turns to the lives of the house's various inhabitants, to accounts penned by Walter Benjamin, Rosa Luxemburg, and Gabriele Tergit, and to the female protagonists in the works of Theodor Fontane, Irmgard Keun, and Rainer Werner Fassbinder. A new cultural topography of Berlin emerges, one which taps into energetic undercurrents to recover untold or forgotten stories beneath the city's familiar narratives.

A self-taught photographer from the northeastern coast of England, Berlin-based Saul Fletcher (born 1967) has been working for more than two decades to create images of fragmented bodies, found-object assemblages and (most famously) the artist’s own studio wall. Neither staged nor real, neither fast-moving nor static, neither intimate nor detached, Fletcher’s images create distinct ruptures in everyday temporalities. This substantial volume reproduces more than 300 photographs, alongside essays by Ralph Rugoff and Kirsty Bell that touch on the haunting feeling produced by Fletcher’s imagery.
Fletcher’s work has been exhibited at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, the Hessel Museum of Art in Annandale-on-Hudson, the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, Tate Modern in London and the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh.

Installation views and essays documenting Guyton’s 2020 career retrospective 
A lavish 464-page publication documenting New York–based artist Wade Guyton’s (born 1972) celebrated 2019 retrospective at Museum Ludwig, this second volume was designed to accompany Wade Guyton: Zwei Dekaden MCMXCIX–MMXIX, a comprehensive catalog of exhibitions published at the time of the 2020 exhibition, which presented 112 paintings, 92 drawings, 22 sculptures and a room of books, posters and special editions from more than 20 years of production. 
This new volume contains more than 200 installation views—taken by professional photographers as well as by the artist himself—which together provide a circular walk-through of the exhibition and highlight its unique nonchronological structure. Also included in the volume are three dynamic lectures about Guyton’s work by Bettina Funcke, Jeanette Mundt and Kirsty Bell.

Based on the holdings of the Goetz Collection in Munich, and accompanying a 2013 exhibition there, this volume offers a concise Roni Horn overview. It includes Horn’s best-known series, such as You Are the Weather, To Place, a.k.a., Some Thames and Cloud and Clown. Throughout these sequences, Horn’s abiding motifs recur: water, weather, her adoptive home of Iceland, and more formal qualities such as repetition and permutation. The book shows how Horn’s major works can be experienced in ever-new constellations, arrangements and contrasts within the exhibition context.
