Growing up in a single parent home with a father that inspired perseverance and fairness, Marques Ogden learned how to define his values and set goals. Ogden attended Howard University from 1998-2002, where he played Division I football. He followed his dream and his brother Jonathan's footsteps, eventually getting drafted into the NFL in 2003. Overall, he played for 5 years as an offensive lineman with the Titans, Bills, Ravens and Jaguars. Even during the off season, Ogden helped train football players in Europe, both physically and mentally. At the age of 27, he founded a construction company called Kayden Premier Enterprises, a business that grew rapidly in its first few years, but Ogden and the business eventually went bankrupt, after Ogden loss almost 2 million dollars on one project in a time period just under 90 days. At his darkest point, the NFL came in and helped Ogden restructure his life. With hard work and determination, he became a motivational speaker and marketing leader, helping to build others up to succeed. Through it all, Ogden dealt with his own personal demons of drinking and gambling to make it egardless of obstacles that were in his path!

Al Oliver is a former Major League Baseball player. Over the course of his eighteen year career, he has been blessed to be able to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1968-77), Texas Rangers (1978-81), Montreal Expos (1982-83), San Francisco Giants (1984), Philadelphia Phillies (1984), Los Angeles Dodgers (1985) and Toronto Blue Jays (1985). From 1970 to 1976, he played for five Pirates division champions, including the team that defeated the Orioles in the 1971 World Series. Al Oliver was a career .303 hitter with 219 home runs and 1326 RBI's in 2368 games. He batted .300 or more eleven times and retired with 2,743 hits (45th on the all-time list). He is ranked among the all-time top 50 in games played (2368), total bases (4083), RBI (1326) and extra-base hits (825). Oliver was among the league's top ten in doubles nine times and among the league's top ten in hits nine times as well and finished in the top ten in batting average nine times. During his career, five times he was among the league's top ten in total bases and four times he was in the top ten in RBIs. Oliver is a seven time All Star player, a three time Sliver Slugger Award winner, and has won the 1982 National League Batting Title. Oliver's autobiography covers his faith and determination on both on and off the diamond. It also discuss Olivers life from overcoming hardships as a child to his eventual triumph of becoming a Major League Baseball player. His inspiring story will touch the hearts of many.

Larry McReynolds's autobiography "The Constant Pursuit of Perfection" covers his life from his beginning in Birmingham, Alabama to becoming a broadcasting icon in NASCAR. His inspiring story which illuminates his faith and determination from both sides of the camera, as well as the struggles he has had to face and overcome continues to touch the hearts of millions. Larry's NASCAR career began in 1975. Since then, he has worked his way up the ladder, taking his first crew chief job in 1985. Larry's first win as a crew chief came in 1988 at Watkins Glen with driver Ricky Rudd and he continued as a winning crew chief for the 1992 Daytona 500 with driver Davey Allison in the #28 car, the Robert Yates Racing Ford Thunderbird. He joined Richard Childress Racing in 1997 and helped NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt win the 1998 Daytona 500. At the end of the 2000 season, Larry made a difficult decision to leave the Richard Childress owned #31 Lowe's Chevrolet and venture into the Fox Sports broadcast booth with Mike Joy and three time Winston Cup champion Darrell Waltrip. The three have worked together since the 2001 season, serving as commentators for many NASCAR races (2001 - present). This first issue’s cover story is about World Champion Roy Jones Jr. This issue also covers world champion fighters Troy Dorsey, Gene “Mad God” Hatcher, and Pauli Ayala from the Dallas, Fort Worth Area. The stories cover the heart of their careers, as well as, their life from both in and out of the ring. LaTavia also created a section called “Low Blows” that features Eight Time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman. Low Blows covers the hardships of Ronnie’s career as the world’s best body builder.
