A beautifully illustrated children's picture book that will appeal to children and cat lovers alike. Tigger the farm cat is forced to leave home due to a misunderstanding.  A group of sailors take pity on him and he begins a new life on board ship as "Sailor Sam".  Some of the sailors do not understand the nocturnal nature of cats and soon begin to complain that Sam is lazy.  To prove them wrong, Sam decides to speed them to their destination by steering the ship at night.  Alas, cats are not famed for their map-reading abilities and his actions have unexpected and humorous consequences.  Where will the ship end up and will Sailor Sam be forgiven?
