During high school, band geek Dave Tripiciano had few girlfriends, and was teased and bullied by his classmates and even his gym teacher. In an effort to prove himself, and win the respect of others, he practiced three hours a day to become an accomplished musician, and then went on to study music in college. When the coeds began to notice him, he discovered another way to impress the girls, and became quite the ladies man. Married while still in college, he played in a band for extra money, but that made it easy to flirt with and meet attractive women. As he matured and settled down, he became a faithful husband, the father of three and a school band director. But the need to "prove himself" and impress people still drove him. Becoming a self-centered workaholic, he focused mainly on his career and his hobbies, until the tragic morning that he and his children found his wife dying in a wrecked car on their way to school. Soon after her death, he also learned that due to his selfishness, she had turned elsewhere for attention and had been having an affair with another man for several years. Devastated and realizing how badly he had failed as both a husband and a father, he gave up his career as a high school band director and began to devote his life and his gifts to serving God and others. He met and married a young widow with two small children who lost her husband in a plane crash. Since then he has started an outreach ministry for men and several Christian school band programs that include home schoolers. He has also authored two books and produces Christian videos.

Yolanda P. Tyson was born on December 29, 1983. She began writing poetry when she was only eleven years old. She started with a journal, writing feelings about her life, happiness, sadness, good times, bad times, even depression.While she was writing, Yolanda decided to make her journal into poetry. She is still writing today.At the age of twenty-four, she gave birth to a son on August 2, 2008. While Jeremiah was growing up, the things she saw him doing really amazed her. Some poems here are written about him.Yolanda has had seizures since she was a year old. The medication she takes is a huge distraction. She did not do that well in school, so she stopped going. When she decided to go back, it was too late. Now she is working to receive her G.E.D. and hoping to make a living writing poetry.Yolanda's poems consist of fiction and nonfiction poems. Tamar's Dream

Tamar, an undercover agent, was given a task by Mari, the CHAIR. She was to take a team of a dozen and retrieve a witness or witnesses from a specific planet. It was dangerous as someone was trying to control not only that planet but the rest of the universe. They used a Courier Ship to make the trip and knew that trouble was ahead as soon as they landed as their ship had watchers and any who departed it had to move as a group. Three large tubs of black dirt were waiting for access to deliver. In each container was a flask and a lid covered all. Tamar and Dante were told to go to the park level of the space station, to meet those they were to take back. The man who led the underground on the planet set up the meeting and directed his observers to get to the station which required days of running. A Gentman brought backpacks for those going, and each had an identical list of contents. Those to report were attacked and threatened. It was necessary for Tamar and the team to secure everyone for they expected someone would come to inspect their ship.

The Box and My Trouble Getting It

Suddenly, I found myself being sucked up toward the cargo bay doors, so I grabbed hold of the nearest steel tie ring on the floor. The tie rings looked to be about two inches in diameter. I struggled, trying not to get sucked up through the opening cargo bay doors. I was hit in the leg by a box, which almost made me lose my grip on the floor ring. I kicked the box away; it struck the floor and flew open. I looked inside and found what looked like a spacesuit. I grabbed it and put it on. Hopefully, I could get out of the cargo bay alive and catch a ride back to the ship even though I didn't have that box. Putting the suit on without getting sucked out of the cargo bay doors was a major problem. I put my foot through a floor ring, anchoring myself to the floor. Struggling into the spacesuit, I found it was too tight. Working frantically, I took off my uniform and put the spacesuit back on. It was a tight fit, but it would work. I looked around for the helmet, and I did not see it anywhere. As I looked up toward the doors in the ceiling, I did notice something shiny. I focused on the shiny small object, which I fervently hoped was the helmet to the suit I was wearing.
