Jason Baldinger is from Pittsburgh and misses roaming the country writing poems. His newest book is A Threadbare Universe (Kung Fu Treachery Press). Forthcoming books include The Afterlife is a Hangover (Stubborn Mule Press) and A History of Backroads Misplaced (Kung Fu Treachery). His work has been published widely across print journals and online. You can hear him read his work on Bandcamp and on lp's by The Gotobeds and Theremonster. Damian Rucci is the author of 5 chapbook of poetry including Corrupt the Youth by Between Shadows Press. His work has been featured across the internet and in print. He is a founding member of the Nu Profits of Poetic Dischord, a beer guzzling bard, and probably banned from your local bar. Shawn Pavey is the author of Talking to Shadows (Main Street Rag Press, 2008), Nobody Steals the Towels From a Motel 6 (Spartan Press, 2015), and Survival Tips for the Pending Apocalypse (2019, Spartan Press) which was 1st runner up for the 2020 Thorpe Menn Literary Excellence Award. About this Book\nWe sometimes think of organizations as entities in themselves, but in practical terms our experience of them comes down to the people we encounter under the umbrella of these collectives. I met John Dorsey at and through the Osage Arts Community and he is one of the people who made my experience of the organization so valuable, even magical. When OAC proposed a book project containing images of my exhibition Unravelling I thought "Sure, if John will be in it." John and I are pretty hard workers, but the rest is up to the individuals holding this book; you create the gestalt.

It requires a certain level of comfort with silence, if not always with our place in it. A comfort and an ability to subtract words in a way that leaves us with little more than bone. This is how I approached Aaron's work when I sat with it in the gallery to write these poems.
