A 1976 version of this titled, Jesus! He's Our President, inspired college students from three Illinois universities to launch a write-in campaign forJesus. The University of Wisconsin - Racine used the book in all of its freshman English classes to study satire. More than 35,000 copies were sold in the Greater Chicago area.
