NYU and CCNY in the 1930s, his fascinating account of brilliant war-time developments, to his years at the office of Naval Research and NASA's Apollo program, he presents an eye-witness view of the drama, foibles and great victories of the century's scientific advances.  Anyine interested in the 20th Century Science and Technology will enjoy Hall's natural writing style, non-technical explanations of technical concepts and his modest presentation.  A "Joy" to read.
