i) 120 sturdy flashcards. Words selected are those most commonly experienced by preschoolers and young children 
ii) An instruction manual that goes in depth to explain the Oracle Bone Script and the Chinese character, with hanyu pinyin provided

More than 2,000 years ago, the Ancient Chinese drew what they saw, and it became Oracle Bone Script, a picture-based language system that forms the roots of the modern Chinese language. By putting Oracle Bone Script and modern Chinese together, you get to understand why and how the modern Chinese character is constructed. This allows you to learn and memorize Chinese characters more efficiently and effectively, rather than through rote learning and hanyu pinyin alone. 
You can use these flashcards in a number of ways: 
i) Find the similarities between the Oracle Bone Script and the modern Chinese character 
ii) Trace the Chinese character 
iii) Sort into categories such as “Human Life”, “Nature”, “Home” and see how the Chinese characters relate to each other 
iv) Pick a series of 5-10 cards and tell a story
