Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat, MD grew up in Haiti within a family of natural healers, shamans, herbalists, and midwives. Inspired by the miracles she witnessed daily—such as a birth midwifed by her mother and her own recovery from serious illness through her grandfather, an indigenous healer, after modern medicine had failed—she developed a desire to provide both compassionate attention and medical care to those in need. Studying medicine in Mexico, Jamaica, and the United States, Dr. Carolle eventually opened her own private practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist in San Diego, where she sought to provide effective treatment to all, regardless of social or economic class.  In Daily Miracles, the second book in Dr. Carolle’s four-book series, A Day in the Life of a Healer, Dr. Carolle shares many riveting stories about her long and varied career, ranging from her experiences as a medical student to her years as an established physician providing care from a broad-spectrum, whole-being perspective.
