Twelve previously published short stories, many of which received small press prizes or small press Editor's Choice Awards. The title story, "Unk's Fiddle," has won several prizes and appears in Chicken Soup for the Single's Soul. Four stories appear in the author's highly reviewed October 2000 trade paperback, A Christmas Dozen From the Christmas Story pastor.
