We now know that the Bible creation stories had their origins in far older tales. These stories often match the Old Testament and originate from clay tablets discovered in ancient Sumeria and Babylonia. Nicholas of Cusa was a Christian mystic who lived during the 1400s. The Vision of God is known as a classic of Christian mysticism, putting many believers in touch with the divine.
