Although a central figure in both the Fantastic and Visionary genres of art he paints in numerous styles and has produced work in every media of the studio arts. He holds academic degrees: B.S., M.A. and MFA in Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture, with studies in Psychology, Philosophy and Comparative Religion. From 1973 -74, Philip studied old masters techniques of painting and printmaking with his mentor, Ernst Fuchs, the founder of the School of Fantastic Realism in Vienna, Austria. Since 1997, he has been formally sharing his knowledge through his internationally renowned painting seminars.
