"Most of these 18 or so short stories bring us back to the "old style" SF where the writing technique is as important as the far-out ideas being presented. Except for a few stories near the end of the book, most readers will enjoy the writing style of Norman Spinrad. The last few entries are more akin to ideas mashed up together than to "normal" stories. In summary, an enjoyable book."
