Congress has declared war against traitors now causing problems in the Department of Defense. General Dan Jorgensen has been drafted to lead the to lead the offensive against this treat to nation security. Dan has been give a brevet or temporary promotion to General of the Army, a General with five stars, to lead this offensive against this attack against our national security. After a quick clean up, he is ordered to take over as president of the Knoxville College, which has just been and designated as Knoxville University. Even as the president of this university, he still teaches some and is called upon frequently to continue the war against murder and treason.

Dan, after discussing their situation with Grace, had seriously considered and decided to retire. They were fed up with the almost constant attacks on their lives and family. We did take about a one month vacation. The vacation was needed for us to recover from my time being in a comatose state after an attack on me and the ordeal of the shooting of myself and General Stephen Schmid. Those and other incidents were very draining mentally and physically. The retirement did not last long. When you have been up against such dangers almost daily for years and that suddenly ends. It doesn't take long to start looking for something to do. So Dan is now back in the harness as President of Knoxville University and teacher. It was not long before Dan had a bad experience and resigned as University President. Counterfeit orders sent General of the Army Daniel Jorgensen and General Stephen Schmid to the Norfolk Navy Base where Dan was nearly killed. Counterfeit orders for their arrest nearly took them out of circulation. The evil powers are continuing in their efforts to eliminate Dan or stop his investigations, which he does after repeated requests by Commander in Chief. How long can anyone put up with such actions against their life or family?

Dan is a civilian since he has retired from the military, as has Grace. Dan retired as a General of the Army, a General with five stars and Grace retired as a Brigadier General, a general with one star. As a civilian teacher, Dan would not be teaching ROTC cadets or CID candidates and he would not be wearing an Army uniform, except on certain occasions. Dan still carries a weapon, or weapons, for self preservation, even if the pistols he carries were concealed. Dan and Grace have been called to the white House by President Ford. President Ford told Dan, "We, myself, the Secretary of Defense and each of the chiefs of staff for all of the military branches, have received a threat to destroy our defensive capability The FBI, the CID, NSA, and the CIA have not been able to locate this organization and neutralize it. You are our best hope. So, Dan is back in the saddle again to fight against internal treason. Dan and his family will be separated for some time with Dan being declared dead. Dan is again placed into further investigation Into treason and intrigue. And the military establishment of Canada is involved this time. Can Dan and his family survive this problem?

Dan Jorgensen: A New Life

President Reagan was able to contact Dan and requested him to return to Knoxville and teach. The President's request put Dan back on the target block and endangered the lives of he and Grace. Dan didn't appreciate that one particle. Dan was back home with Grace, after taking out a serious threat to national security. Dan was able to do that with great help from Fort Carson and Peterson field. Dan and Grace began to talk about their situation. Dan asked Grace, "Do you like it here?" Grace thought for a minute and then said, "Yes and no. yes because we are together and it has been peaceful here. No because I miss my family, your mom and dad and our friends. I think I would like to move back to Knoxville." Dan took Grace in his arms and kissed her royally, then he said, "My love, so do I. Lets go and find a place to live. Dan called Stephen Schmid and discussed the move back to Knoxville. Stephen was over joyed to know that Dan and Grace were coming back. Stephen told Dan, "The home you lived in is still vacant. If you would be willing to teach part time, the house is yours. Would that be okay with you and Grace?" "Of course. We would like that." Dan and Grace were back in Knoxville, and the attacks on them from a variety of sources or directions were again in action. The uranium magnate that been arrested by Dan for his illegal activities had lawyers that were continuing his crimes. Carol Schmid had been kidnapped by them during an attack on Dan and his family. All by those employed by the uranium millionaire. Dan and Grace felt at ease at home, they were tired. After the normal evening they prepared for bed. They fell asleep quickly. Daniel in the middle of the night had a bad dream which woke him and he sat up in a state of confusion. But his mind cleared rapidly and he knew that someone was in the house, someone of great evil. Dan could hear someone coming to our bedroom. After the ruckus, Sheriff Wilcox arrived to find two wounded men, one dead man and a live one that Dan had handcuffed. This was just a continuation of the attacks on Dan and Grace. Will it continue?

Afro-American Me is a literary collection of my poems and essays written while pursuing an associate degree in mental health/chemical dependency at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. I used to think writing papers about self-inventory and awareness was a way of inducing a severe headache. Boy, was I wrong! I learned so much more about myself than I could ever imagine. Attending college has been more than just a higher education; it's been a journey of discovering my true purpose and creative talents.All my college instructors brought out the best in me.
