<p>This is, according to the dust jacket, the first commercially produced book of silk-screened printed photographs in publishing history. There were, of course, any number of fine press books done in this fashion , including a very limited edition of this one. there are thirty silk-screened printed photographs of the Tibetan Buddhist Refugee Settlements in northern India which were derived from black and white negatives taken in 1969.
