2017年夏秋,我完成了长篇历史小说《二十九甲子,又见洛阳!》初稿。这部作品,是我人生路上的不偶之作。这里“偶”指偶然,也有“单独”的意思。用我自己的话说,她“是我一颗不老的民族初心的全面迸发和集中体现。”是我的“国爱井喷”。那以后,我又创作了一系列的历史散文。这些历史散文,基于我对中国历史和中国人的深一层认知,显示我对自己民族和文化的深情挚爱和归属感,也是我在海内外传扬中华文化的动机和使命感的体现。创作《又见洛阳》前后直至今日,又是国际局势纷繁,中国遭受空前挑战和困难的时候。我时常忧心如焚,时常向神祷告。这部散文集,也在一定的程度上折射了我一个阶段以来的相应心境。“天涯”一词时常出现在我的文字里。除了历史散文,这部集子还收录了我和故乡有关的作品。另外,润饼灯、番石榴、茉莉花、番石榴、环保袋等等内容,从不同的角度体现出我的人生关键词:简单与初心。这些作品,文心如水,文笔浑然天成,大都在海内外的传统或网路媒体露过面。之前,我已经出版过散文集《天涯之桑》、杂文集《机翼下的长江》,另一部散文集《茶界》则一直在出版社的付梓列单上。谢谢美国南方出版社出版这部集子,这也是我的第四部散文集。感谢热爱我文字的朋友们,包括为我写评语的编辑、文友和读者们。文学与人生一体。在我这里,家、国和神虽处于不同的层面,却是联系在一起的。感谢神的恩典。我在大洋的这一端,永远祝福我的至亲至爱、我的祖国和同胞!
