<p>As any mother will tell you, raising three rambunctious, athletic boys is no day at the beach. Somehow, Kathy Wistrom and her husband Ron have done a pretty good job with theirs. Each of their sons played college football, one at Central Missouri State (Chance) and two at the University of Nebraska (Grant and Tracey) and Grant is currently a member of the St. Louis Rams. Each has excelled in the sport and is on track to a happy and successful life. </p>
<p>While Kathy is quick to point out that she is no expert in parenting, over the years she has been asked enough times about how she and Ron raised their sons that she thought it was time to write it all down. The result, Mrs. Wistrom's ABCs, is a thoughtful and entertaining work. Kathy's parenting advise is practical and down-to-earth and her writing is laced with a sharp, clever sense of humor. Every parent with athletic children, and likely those whose children are not so competitive will enjoy this book. Kathy's stories of parenting in the Wistrom household are both heartfelt and humorous, with many lessons from which we can all learn.</p>
