She spends her days tending to their needs and carrying their belongings in her pack, making sure to always have everything they need on-hand. Mother Mule is tired, and her load is heavy. Author Caitlyn Wallinger is a wife and mother to two rambunctious little boys. Her journey in motherhood is her greatest joy and most important learning opportunity...and is also what reignited her love of writing. After contributing to the Wine Country Moms Blog for a year, she created her own blog for sharing real, raw, passionate stories of moments in motherhood, hoping to unite parents with inspiration and laughter. Her first children's book, Mother Mule, explores the ideas of selflessness in motherhood and the importance of asking for help. With her books, she hopes to bond mothers around the world in shared experiences and inspire others to pursue their passions. As a thirty-something stay-at-home mom, who is now a published author, she is proof that your story is meaningful and absolutely worth sharing. Illustrator Kelcey Jones is a wife and a mom to two adorable toddlers. She is, at her core, a creator-having started early with amateur crafts and now honing all her efforts into professional art and illustrations. She moved all over the place in her youth, but claims to be from Washington as that is the place she feels most at home. Kelcey loves all things colorful and vibrant, decorating her home and life with colorful bohemian décor and lots of living plants! She also finds joy in her many goldfish and taking her kids on safari adventures every weekend. She hopes to be a shining example to her children and others of a mother who loves deep and follows big dreams.
