<p>With Tennessee grassroots and happily married to the love of her life and soul mate, James, a disabled American veteran, hugs were intensively habit forming for Barbara. They brought happy, protective, and assuring moments. This custom of hugging and comforting those who were natural huggers was very dear to Barbara, especially those she felt needed the comfort and assurance of a caring, warmhearted hug. Barbara found her magic by providing encouragement in a humorous, loving way to the visually impaired or blind teaching them living skills that helped to make their lives easier. She was also so giving of her time along with her dog, Dakota volunteering at various senior centers and Meals on Wheels, always with that sense of humor, kindness, and concern. She taught about love, acceptance, and friendship. Her hug is mesmerizing! Her touch of love melts! She is truly blessed and to quote her, "Hugging is a universal language."</p>
