This collection of cartoons is one Salvationist's lighthearted, not-at-all-serious look at the church in which he was raised....The Salvation Army. 
You'll find cartoons about Salvation Army officers even though he's not an officer, and you'll find cartoons about brass bands and songsters even though he can't play a horn or sing too well. Bob Swanson created his "Mustard Seeds" cartoon strip in 1997 and it appears monthly in the Central Connection, a publication of The Salvation Army Central Territory. Since 2016 it has also appeared in The Officer, a publication for the ordained ministers of the Salvation Army that is distributed in 131 countries.
