&#346;r&#299; K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a-bh&#257;van&#257;m&#7771;ta is a work describing the daily pastimes of R&#257;dh&#257; and K&#7771;&#7779;na extending over a full day from early morning to late night. This follows after Govinda-l&#299;l&#257;m&#7771;ta of K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a d&#257;sa Kavir&#257;ja, one of the first Gau&#7693;&#299;ya works on this topic and covers many of the same pastimes. Since a devotee eventually enters into the pastimes of the Lord in the spiritual world, the devotee may be inquisitive to understand the activities there and how he could participate in those activities. Since the Gau&#7693;&#299;yas generally concentrate on realization of R&#257;dh&#257; and K&#7771;&#7779;na, most works describing the daily pastimes are concerned with their pastimes.

Bṛhat Vaiṣṇava Toṣaṇī was completed in Śakābda 1476. Sanātana Gosvāmī wrote this elaborate commentary on the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam to explain in detail what Śrīdhara Svāmī covered briefly, and to give devotional meaning where Śrīdhara Svāmī gave brahma-vāda explanations. Sanātana's commentary shows great learning and deep devotion. It conveys the sweetness that Caitanya Mahāprabhu presented to the world.

A camp&#363; is a literary composition mixing poetry and prose, displaying literary ornaments and various verse forms, often using words with double meaning. &#346;rila J&#299;va Gosv&#257;m&#299; has written Gop&#257;la-camp&#363; describing the pastimes of K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a from his appearance until his return to Vraja. Though Kavikar&#7751;apura has written Ananda-v&#7771;nd&#257;vana Camp&#363; on the same topic, the unique feature of this camp&#363; is that the whole story has been arranged to lead to K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a's final union in marriage to the gop&#299;s.The Gopala-camp&#363; narrates the pastimes as found in the Srimad Bhagavatham with the addition of rasa. J&#299;va Gosv&#257;m&#299; writes that it is a "work composed of the bliss of Radha and Krishna" and "those who desire to see Vraja and to attain Goloka will achieve that destination by this work."&#346;rila J&#299;va Gosv&#257;m&#299;'s use of words and grammar is often difficult. The text is taken from the Puri Das' edition (1947). The numbering system is taken from that edition, though other editions have different numbering systems. The numbers in square brackets at the beginning of a line indicate a prose portion. The numbers between vertical lines at the end of a paragraph indicate a verse. Where whole verses are quoted in Sanskrit in the original work these have been reproduced with translations. Where a few words of a verse are quoted, only the translation is given, without quoting the Sanskrit, though the verse reference is given. Since the whole story is narrated by two young boys alternately, who often relate conversations between individuals which contain conversations within conversations, conventional use of quotation marks is awkward. For long sections where one person speaks or when one person speaks over several numbered sections colons are used to indicate the commencement of the speech. For short conversations within one numbered section conventional quotation marks are used.To enable the readers to also relish the poetic beauty and rhythm in the Sanskrit songs in Gopala- camp&#363;, an audio CD (not available with ebook) has been made keeping in mind the ragas (musical notes) mentioned at times in the book itself and according to the mood of the song.

The Sandarbhas are one of J&#299;va Gosv&#257;m&#299;'s major works. Sandarbha literally means "stringing together." Baladeva explains, "The wise say a Sandarbha is that which possesses various matters of importance which should be known. Bh&#257;gavatam verses are gathered together (sand&#7771;bhyate)."In this case, it is a literary composition consisting of a series of prose sections mixed with verse mainly from Bh&#257;gavatam. It is in six parts which explain Gau&#7693;iya epistemology, theology and philosophy. Tattva Sandarbha deals with the epistemology, while Bhagavat, Param&#257;tm&#257; and K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a Sandarbhas deal with object of worship (sambandha). Bhakti Sandarbha deals with the process or abhidheya, bhakti, and Pr&#299;ti Sandarbha deals with the goal or prayojana, prema.Tattva Sandarbha first explains the various pram&#257;&#7751;as or methods of proof and concludes that &#347;abda or scripture is the strongest. Using scriptural proofs, finally Bh&#257;gavatam is concluded to be the best among all scriptures. The second part of Tattva Sandarbha explains prameya--what is proved by Bh&#257;gavatam: K&#7771;&#7779;&#7751;a as the object of worship, bhakti as the method and prema as the goal. These topics are expanded in the other Sandarbhas.
