 MORE ABOUT RAIN CITY PROJECTS RCP is dedicated to supporting, promoting and developing professional playwrights and their work in the Pacific Northwest. Our goals include raising the profile of the playwright within the working theater community and furthering an understanding of the playwright's role to the larger community. We encourage the presence and participation of the playwright in the rehearsal process, and work to educate audiences around the relationship of text to performance. Our current programs include Sweetness Grants that provide travel stipends for playwrights to attend rehearsals and premiere performances of their works and publishing the Manifesto Series, a unique Biennial anthology of new works.
