This 2023 edition is the result of survey runs on the Sea of Abaco and at harbour entrances as well as aerial flights and photographs which resulted in up-dated charts and text. The Cruising Guide to Abaco is a wonderful help on board as well as for planning a sailing trip in the Abacos. It has all the necessary charts for approach planning and nice aerial images showing the way to anchorages. To make navigation easy there is an outstanding set of GPS waypoints you can use with the boat's plotter. An exceptional help are the charts of dive moorings and dive spots to find all the dive spots on your own not being dependent on the dive shops and their preselected dive spots schedule.  About the Author 
Steve Dodge is Professor Emeritus of History at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. He lives at White Sound, Elbow Cay for part of each year, and also has a residence in New Smyrna Beach, FL. He has been doing research and writing on the history of the Bahamas for over forty years, and has published several books, including; Abaco: The History of an Out Island and its Cays.
