Jesus is the most controversial figure of all time and his resurrection is the most radical claim of all history. All true Christians believe he literally rose from the dead. Atheists, skeptics, and agnostics do not and in growing numbers are condemning the Bible's Easter story, saying it is vastly contradictory.     Christian scholars have long struggled with reconciling the accounts of the five writers who each told part of the story. Some have said doing so in a plausible way is impossible. But after nearly five years of prayerful study, pastor Stephen Kingsley claims he saw how to fit the various pieces together. Kingsley says the problem is complex, like many things of God, but the solution is simple and quite obvious once you see it.    The Easter Answer brings all the words of all the accounts together without bending the meaning of a single word of any of the writers; without taking any of the verses out of their natural sequence; and without depending upon unfounded speculation.     Now we can know and understand who did and said what, when, and where on Easter Sunday and over the forty days that followed. When brought together in this way the world's most important story emerges with clarity and plausibility.    God could have given his most important story to the world in a simple straightforward way; but its evidential value would be in question. Critics would say of the resurrection accounts what they say of the larger part of the gospels, that the writers copied off one another. But when it came to the resurrection, the accounts are much different. Each is overtly partial, yet rife with intricate details. When taken as complete independent stories, they seem to be in conflict; yet when the events are understood and brought together, the pieces fit together to form one complete story. In this way the accounts depend on one another, withstand any accusation of collusion between the writers, and validate the truthfulness of each record. God gave this section of Scripture his most careful treatment. This greatest of stories is presented as a chronological literary puzzle--one resolved in The Easter Answer.
