Principles of Environmental Law comprehensively details the current state of environmental law in the UK and the European Community, focusing on those areas typically covered in most environmental law courses. As always, Environmental Law had continued to develop at a considerable pace, both in terms of EC and domestic legislation as well as case law. This third edition has been updated so as to include a discussion of the impact of the Treaty of Amsterdam on the development of EC law and a more thorough analysis of recent trends in EC environmental law. At the domestic level the book has been revised to consider the broader implications of important judicial decisions such as the Empress Car Company case and Hunter v Canary Wharf.
