<p>I was always disappointed I couldn't find all the information I wanted to know about the High Line Canal in one book. I have written High Line Canal: Meandering Through Time to fill such a niche. The purpose for this book is threefold. Firstly, it will serve as an easily accessible historical reference for the High Line Canal. Secondly, it is a definitive trail guide for those interested in trekking the parts of the trail open to the public. Lastly it will expose the trail users to the history of the area which straddles the canal and, hopefully, make your trek far more interesting. This book was a labor of love - to give something back to a place that has given me so many wonderful memories.
