About the Author      Sidney Schwartz has studied mediumship for 42 years. In 1975, Mr. Schwartz had his first encounter with a medium, Rev. Carl R. Hewitt. Mr. Schwartz earned a Bachelor's degree in history from the University of Bridgeport and a Master's degree in educational media from Boston University. He resides in New Jersey and is a retired middle school history teacher and school librarian. Rev. Schwartz and was ordained on February 25, 2001. He served as Assistant Pastor of Gifts of the Spirit Church, and became Pastor after its founder, Rev. Carl R. Hewitt, transitioned to the Spirit World. After Rev. Hewitt and Mr. Schwartz became friends, they collaborated on many projects. During their 30 friendship, Carl shared many stories of his personal history. They discussed the importance and possibility of writing these events into a book. Carl tape-recorded many of his experiences and often told them on their cable TV show entitled Making Known the Unknown.
