Rolando Sánchez Mejías (Holguín, 1959) fue fundador del proyecto Diáspora(s) y entre 1997 y 2002 codirigió la revista homónima. Ha publicado, entre otros, los volúmenes de narrativa Historias de Olmo (2001) y Cuaderno de Feldafing (2003), y los volúmenes de poesía Cálculo de lindes (2000) y Cuaderno blanco (2006). En 1993 y 1994 recibió en Cuba el Premio Nacional de la Crítica. Desde 1997 vive exiliado en Barcelona.
