This may be due to the fact that very few Astrologers use solar returns in their practice of consultation because it involves setting up an additional chart. It may be due to the fact that quite often a solar return chart seems to merely confirm what progressions and transits already indicate. In the latter case, this may be so when the Astrologer uses conventional means of interpreting the solar return chart as outlined in the available literature on the subject. But when used with the natal planets, when techniques of progressing the solar return chart are implemented as well as examining transits to it, it will be found that indeed the solar return chart offers one of the most inclusive and accurate means of prediction - considerably more profound than merely the examination of progressions and transits to the natal chart alone!
