The book explores the complex of forces that determine the success of interactions - meetings. It is based on the study of videotapes and observations of thousands of meetings, invention and problem solving sessions, and meetings between intimate partners. The authors were identifying actions - words, tonals and non-verbals - that determine the effectiveness of the meeting.
