About the Author Denny Petrillo is presently an instructor of Bible at the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, Colorado. He is also the author of a study guide on the Minor Prophets. Petrillo is a graduate of the Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies, and earned a B.A. degree in Bible with a minor in Biblical languages from Harding University in 1977. He earned his M.A. degree in Old Testament studies from the Harding graduate School of Religion in 1981. In 1989 he completed his Ph.D. in Religious Education from the University of Nebraska. Petrillo has preached full time in Mississippi, and has taught at Magnolia Bible College (Kosciusko, MS), and York College (York, NE). He has been an instructor at Bear Valley since 1985. He has also completed for the World Video Bible School (Buda, Texas) extensive video classes on the Hebrew Language, the Minor Prophets, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon and the book of Job, Psalms, Proverbs and the Gospel of John.  Petrillo is married to the former Kathy Roberts. They have three children.
