Ben Summers, the tough young ranch foreman for the Big Crooked River Ranch, who discovers the body, is out of a job when the ranch is sold. He travels to see the country, stopping in Sweetwater where he finds a job working for Belle Sawyer, owner of the Bar S Ranch. Belle lost her husband the year before and the ranch has been slowly losing money. Ben assists Belle and becomes suspicious of one of her riders. A great western with all the elements of the genre-a hero, action, and romance.</p>
