The Breitkopf &amp; Härtel edition of the complete works of Brahms (Johannes Brahms: Sämtliche Werke; Ausgabe der Gesellschaft der Musikfrunde in Wien), prepared in the 1920s, is still considered the standard source for the music of Brahms.
