Turk Muzigi Makam Rehberi kitabim ogrencilik yillarimdan bu yana tuttugum muzik gunlugumden dogmustur. Muzik gunlugume yillarca, once nazariyatini ogrendigim daha sonra usta sazendelerin taksimlerini dinleyerek kendim icin olusturdugum kisa makam tarifleri yazdim. 1989 yilindan beri mensubu oldugum Istanbul Devlet Klasik Turk Muzigi Korosu'nda gectigimiz klasik takimlari ayni mantikla inceleyip eserlerde kullanilan sekliyle makam tarifleri yazmaya devam ettim. Ben bir nazariyatci degilim. Caldigim tanbur sazinin ve icra etmeye gayret ettigim muzigin icabi makamlari bilmem ve bu makamlarda dogaclama yapmam elbette zaruri. Ancak ben bu zarureti biraz da zevke cevirip daha cok makam ogrenmek istedim. Zira her muzisyenin makamlari kendi idrak seviyesi ve muzige bakisi dogrultusunda yeniden kesfetmesi gerektigini dusunuyorum... Kitapta 60 Turk muzigi makami isleniyor. Sayinin ozel bir sebebi yok. Sadece bir sinir koymak ve ucu bucagi olmayan makam denizinde kaybolmamak icin bir sayi belirledim... Cesnileri ve makamin ruhunu yansitan seyir hareketini didaktik tanbur taksimleriyle gosterdim. Makami en iyi ifade ettigine inandigim eserlerden bolumler sectim ve icra ettim. Taksimleri zamana gore, eserleri olcu sayisina gore analiz ettim. <p>The aim of this Makam Guide is o make Turkish classical music more accessible, so that it can inspire musicians who would not otherwise have the opportunity to properly study this grand tradition. It is intended for practical use by musicians of any discipline. After a brief introduction to the general philosophy and traditional training that Turkish music requires, Master Murat Aydemir adapts his established teaching method to concise definitions and supports these by recordings. Through this adaptation, the guide distinguishes itself from other Turkish music publications and emphasizes the importance of the master-apprentice relationship. The Makam Guide presents makams in a manner which makes them more comprehensible and establishes a foundation upon which musicians will be able to imitate and use them. Sixty different makams are recorded and analyzed, each traditionally beginning with an improvisational intro called taksim, followed by a section from a piece that exemplifies the makam in question. Furthermore, each recording is fundamentally transcribed, providing users with a framework for proper improvisation within the makams.</p>
