En este libro Melucci contribuye a la revisión de los enfoques teóricos tradicionales y contemporáneos sobre la acción colectiva. Presenta una propuesta conceptual y metodológica que ubica a la acción colectiva en la sociedad actual y destaca los principales problemas que surgen al analizar los movimientos sociales.
