This book is part of the NYSSMA program in New York. Students perform in front of a judge. It takes diligence and LOTS of practice. One of my students chose a song from this book which was a Level 6. it took him months to accomplish this very difficult piece. Since it's required that no copies be brought in for the performce, it's required the student bring in an original copy...in this case ...the book. Well the book went out of print before his NYSMMA performance. No local music stores had it in stock.. I was so so grateful to find it on Amazon, or else he would not have been able to participate...It has a nice variety of beautiful classical music
