<p>Montel and Oprah's blood-quickening guests were two of many who had utilized Bishop Houston's church as an "emergency room." One had come soon enough to be saved, the other had not. In fact Oprah's guest died soon after she interviewed him, while Montel's guest was still very much alive and in contact with the Bishop on a regular basis. For more than a decade, he had interceded for her with prayers, wise counsel, and practical assistance. It was a miracle she had survived the ominous death threat she lived under as a result of testifying against a violent, militaristic drug lord and his dangerous Jamaican Posse. After she exited the witness protection program, there recently arose the possibility of release for those she sent to prison.</p>
