This book deals with heterogenous catalysis by solids, and its material is drawn almost entirely from the science and technology of the unit processes used in ammonia and hydrogen manufacture. Rapidly growing demand for fertilizers,, and the success of the ICI steam-naphtha reforming process, have resulted in the construction of hundreds of new chemical plants.
