This book was published in 1993 and re-issued in 2003. It is a commemorative of the hurricane of 1893 that destroyed Cheniere Caminada, a multicultural fishing community off the coast of Louisiana.  The book includes details about the storm, its path, the people on the cheniere (a ridge of high ground in low lands), what happened during the storm, who died, genealogy, how the families were dispersed. It contains copies of original photographs, illustrations from the period, and a list of persons who died and of survivors.  A limited edition.
