The existence of paranormal phenomena has been proven by reproducible experiments carried out by many independent scientific research laboratories, confirming certain traditional beliefs and folk practices. What has been lacking until now is a solid foundation for building a scientific theory of how these phenomena work. In this book, the metaphysical theory of mental monism, which was formulated by the eighteenth-century philosopher George Berkeley, is used to provide such a foundation.
