<p>In the summer of 1944, a group of anti-Nazi Germans commandeered a submarine and came to America with a plan to depose Hitler and surrender to the Western Allies. They expected to meet secretly with members of the U.S. intelligence community, but were all killed when their submarine was assumed to be hostile and sunk by a Navy blimp off Cape Cod. If this mission had succeeded and the plan was carried out, it might have averted the bloodiest year of the bloodiest war in history. This is a story of intrigue and adventure inspired by actual accounts of an incident that occurred off Cape Cod during World War II.</p>
