Jack Hartman studied to see if other Christian books had been written on the subject of patience, endurance and perseverance. He was surprised to find that very little material has been written pertaining to these subjects. When Jack taught classes on patience and perseverance he asked people in his classes how many Scripture references they knew pertaining to this subject.
