J Patrick Gaffney, S.M.M., S.T.D. was ordained in 1954 and pursued his theological studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas in Rome. He taught theology at the Catholic University of Ponce, Puerto Rico, and at the inter-American University (Presbytarian) at San German, Puerto Rico, before being named Chairman of the Theology Department of St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO. Father Gaffney has contributed to many theological journals and Collected Works on Mary. Editor of the Montfort Queen of All Hearts magazine, he is author of "Mary's Spiritual Maternity According to St. Louis de Montfort," and a textbook on Christology: "Inexhaustible Presence, The Mystery of Jesus."
