This book will appeal primarily to Christian women, especially those who have had cancer or know someone sho has had it. The theme of this book is that through faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ , people can overcome fear and also that those who are survivors of cancer are empowered to encourage others in order to accomplish God's purpose. It is evident that the author of this book has chosen to use their cancer crisis experience to encourage others. By extension it is the hope of the author that readers are likely to see that this is an example they can follow. It is the authors hope that they will choose to do so - that is, to further develop their compassion to help others. The tone of this book is friendly and cheerful, though sometimes serious when called for, but not morbid. The style is informal and conversational, which works well for this type of book.</p>
